Experience and Company History

AAA Pump Co. & Russ’s Well Drilling is owned and operated by the Asmus family. Russ Jr., Mrs. Russ (aka Niki), and Little Russ (age 10). Being family owned and operated for over 40 years in central Missouri, we would like to share with you a little about how the business got here. A business that started in the 1980’s by Russ Jr.’s grandpa, Richard Asmus, when he moved to Missouri from Nebraska and began going door to door in search of work installing and servicing water well pumps and systems. A short time later, Russ Sr. joined his father in the business and not long after purchased a Drill Rig and they became a fullservice business. In 1985 Russ Jr. joined this world and within 5 years he was following his grandpa and dad around from job to job doing every little thing to be able to help. Water wells and pumps are all Russ Jr. has ever known. With Richard aging, Russ Sr. took over the pump business from his dad hoping to continue passing it down the line. For years, Russ Sr. and Russ Jr. worked side by side day and night. Over the years, this business was such a blessing to both of them. They grew as father and son, coworkers, and best friends! In 2014 little Russ joined the family and it was around then that Russ Jr. stepped in as owner of the business with dreams of someday passing it along to little Russ. In 2018 “Mrs. Russ” officially became part of the full-time crew. Since then, the family together has been fully servicing the area with all water needs. From drilling new wells, replacing water well pumps, installing pressure tanks, to changing pressure switches, and everything in between-- we do it together! We recognize what a gift we have been given in this company and thank the Good Lord for it and those who passed it down to us daily!

OUR MISSION

Our company mission can be summed up into a few “G” words that we consider very important! We do our very best to keep the following at the forefront of our business always.

GOD:

It is our mission to serve God first and foremost in every aspect of our business. It is not lost on us that water is a life necessity. We take pride in our part of providing each customer with running water, whether it be a new well & water system or existing well problems. The pride and joy we have stands out while being an active instrument of God helping to provide water to families, farms, and businesses in our surrounding rural community, while striving to point each customer to the true living water, Jesus Christ!

John 4:14 “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Genuine:

We genuinely care for each and every one of our customers. As a small, family owned and operated business, it is our honor to be able to serve each customer. We take that honor very seriously and it shows in our honesty, sincerity, affordability, and the quality of our products.

Gratitude:

It is a different type of gratification when drilling a water well and hitting a good flow of clean, fresh water! So much so that Russ Jr. has been known to be caught dancing when the water starts flowing! Even more gratifying is seeing the joy on a customer's face when we get their water turned back on and running. We are thankful for each job the Lord provides us with and each customer we come into contact with! THANK YOU!!
